|---|---|---|
| Covers, of our six surfaces | Voting board, changelog, feedback — 3 of 6 | All six |
| Cheapest paid plan | $79/mo billed yearly (100 tracked users), ~$98.75 billed monthly | $29/mo Starter · $79/mo Pro |
| What you are billed on | Tracked users — anyone who posts, votes or comments on a post | Flat — nothing is metered |
Canny is the reference product for public roadmaps, and if a voting board is the centre of what you are building, it deserves the shortlist.
The thing to understand before you buy is the meter. Canny counts tracked users, defined in their own words as "someone who has given feedback. This can be via creating a post or voting/commenting on a post." So the bill grows in direct proportion to your feedback programme working.
What happens at the limit
Exceeding the allowance auto-upgrades you to the next tier, prorated. You can prevent that by setting a monthly spend limit — but then feedback tracking from new users pauses instead. Both of those are defensible engineering choices, and both mean success costs you something.
We are flat. Voters, responders and reviewers are unlimited on every plan, and that stays true even if we raise prices later, because the model is the argument rather than the number.
Where Canny is the better choice
Written by us, about a competitor, because a comparison that wins every row is worth nothing to the person reading it.
- A far deeper integration ecosystem than our seven adapters
- A free tier at 25 tracked users, where we have a 7-day trial and nothing after it
- AI Autopilot, and years of production use behind it
- The most established public roadmap product in this category, with the reviews to prove it
